These designs were originally made for an older project focused on the future and a part about futuristic modes of transport. Unfortunately, that project didn’t turn out the way I had hoped, so I decided not to include it in my portfolio. Still, I’m proud of how the vehicle illustrations turned out, so I’ve chosen to add them as individual pieces to my portfolio.
I designed a total of four vehicles. The first one is a concept for a personal flying car, a take on future everyday transportation. The second is a variation of that design, reworked to look like a flying taxi. Both of these are inspired by one of the vehicle designs from the Mass Effect video game series. The third piece is a futuristic train, influenced by general sci-fi transport concepts. And the last one is a sleek monorail with some subtle futuristic touches. The first three lean more heavily into sci-fi styling, while the monorail has a slightly more grounded look.
Although these designs were originally intended for a different project, I’m thinking about expanding the collection. I’d love to explore other types of vehicles like buses, trucks, ships, and planes to create futuristic variations for.
